The Lyst Index has named Off-White as the worlds hottest brand of Q1 2019. The label claimed the title following its recent collaboration with Evian, seeing 4,000 join a waiting list for the exclusive item, and for its roster of partnerships with the likes of Mr. Porter, Nike and others.
Off-White™ climbed one place to the top spot of the Lyst Index after it came second in the Q4 2018 roundup, beating the likes of Gucci, Balenciaga, Valentino and Fendi who came in second, third, fourth and fifth place respectively. Also, for the first time ever, luxury streetwear label Palm Angels join the likes of YEEZY and Stone Island in the top 20. Although, it was surprising, that Virgil Abloh’s leadership at Louis Vuitton did not result in the French label placing in the top 20 this quarter.
The men’s top 10 hottest products were — again for the first time in Lyst Index history — entirely made up of sneakers. Searches for Nike had grown by 33% since the last quarter and saw the brand climb three places from 14th place to 11th. The top five sneakers in the hottest product list see the Nike React Element 87, Yeezy Boost 700 V2 “Static”, Nike Air Force 1, sacal x Nike LDVWaffle and Nike React Element 55 claim first to fifth respectively.
Pairs from New Balance, Converse and Veja complete the top 10 alongside Nike’s recent Fear of God collaboration. Head over to the Lyst site to see the full list .
