Only days left to its official premiere, Netflix have released the official trailer for highly anticipated series “Yasuke”.
The series was created by LeSean Thomas, while animated by popular Japanese animation studio MAPPA. The story centers around a man of African origin who served under Japanese diamyō Oda Nobunaga in the 1500s. The samurai finds himself caught up in the battle between warring diamyō in Japan filled with mechs and magic. On his quest for piece, he becomes responsible for protecting a mysterious child with a target on her back.
The story is executive produced by Flying Lotus. As we await the premiere on April 29, watch the official trailer above.
