To kick start our 21 question series with style icons, we had Manny The G.O.A.T. on, here is what he had to say..

1. Who is Manny The G.O.A.T?

Real name Emmanuel Okenye, originally born In Nigeria, I’m a model, creative director and a stylist.

2. What’s your everyday uniform?

Hmm, I don't exactly have one haha, I wear different things everyday but the one thing that is constant is that I always have a bag with me. Bags are a big part of my everyday look.

3. How about your black-tie outfit?

I love overcoats and every time I'm invited to a black tie event, I have an overcoat on, with either a vest on the inside or a suit

4. Who are your favorite designers today?

Balenciaga, Alyxstudio, and Raf Simons. I absolutely adore these brands

5. Name your three favorite places to shop

Hmm, I shop on Grailed alot because I tend to find exclusive pieces, Ssense and Catwalk, a vintage store on Fairfax in LA

6. What is your favorite shop in the US?

My favorite shop that I've been to has to be between RSVP gallery and Opening Ceremony

7. Vintage or new?

A bit of both. I tend to mix both when styling

8. Which pieces are you crushing on right now?

I really love the Alyxstudio chest harness and I'm looking to get that soon enough

9. Your favorite possessions

My favorite possession at the moment is a denim jacket that was painted on by an amazing artist who happens to be my friend named Judie Mozie. I also really love my chest bag

10. Have you anything bought and never worn?

Never, I never buy anything unless I already envisioned at least four different ways I could style that piece

11. The oldest item in your wardrobe

The oldest item I still own are a pair of trousers I bought from H&M a couple years ago

12. The one item you always carry with you

I always have a pair of sunglasses with me. Even if I don't wear it I just need to have it

13. Man bag; which one?

I own the Louis bag but my favorite is a bag I got from a thrift store in LA

14. Your number one clothing no-no ?

I think it's annoying to see hypebeasts who just crowd their fits with hype clothing without color coordination or any sense of style

15. Number two?

Okay I see some folks who wear skinny jeans with dad shoes like the Balenciaga triple s and frankly they look like clowns haha

15. How about a footwear no-no ?

I actually don't think I have any haha. I love shoes way too much to totally discard a particular one

17. Which shoe for going out?

Lately I've worn the off white presto alot more than my other shoes. It is soo comfortable and definitely one of my favorites

18. What to you, do women look irresistible in?

Hahaha definitely sundresses ouuu! A well styled sundress and you have my heart 😂

19. What underwear do you wear?

Calvin Klein only, nothing else

20. What about to sleep in?

Haha still Calvin Klein 😂

21. What would you like to be buried in?

A suit from my father's wardrobe 🙏 . Any suit from his wardrobe would do
